Having opened its doors in 2000, Veggies Bistro, Mumbai's renowned vegetarian restaurant, has become a household name. It all began in 1995 when our founder, Mr. Surkilal Mehta, came to Mira Road from his native Gujarat. Out of his dedication, tenacity and foresight, Veggies Bistro was born in 2000. In keeping with time-honored traditions in Thane District, Maharashtra, Mr. Surkilal started serving meals on fresh banana leaves to serve the main purpose of South Indian Cuisine. Gradually, he started serving North Indian food in Thali which grabbed the attention of foodies and turned out to be one of their specialities. Apart from North Indian Cuisine, Veggies Bistro serves Chinese, Thai, Fast Food as well. After 18 years, Veggies Bistro continues to be a family-run business.

Today, Veggies Bistro conjures fond memories of delicious dosais, sumptuous thali meals and aromatic South Indian coffee among our patrons. Indians, tourists and vegetarians around the world continue to seek out Veggies Bistro. We serve both South Indian and North Indian vegetarian meals at three locations in Mira Road, Mumbai.
